| What is an improved bio-organic fertilizer? |
A bio-organic fertilizer is a potent blend of organic fertilizer brought about by the incorporation of nitrogen-fixing bacteria, Azotobacter sp. However, in nature, most activities require the presence of mixture of organisms in order to come up with an effective system. Therefore, a single type of nitrogen-fixing microorganism alone could have not made major impact to soil nutrition and fertility. The presence of mixtures of microorganisms or a "consortium" would provide a more advantageous system.
An improved bio-organic fertilizers is just like a composted organic material incorporated with different microorganisms as inoculants that can fix nitrogen and solubilize phospahates that provide growth substance. |

| |
FIELD APPLICATION |
1. |
Apply evenly all recommended GOF before the last plowing. |
2. |
Plow the field to incorporate the GOF with the soil. |
3. |
Water the field. |
4. |
Plant the seeds or transplant the seedings. |
|
IN FURROWS |
1. |
Plow the field to create furrows. |
2. |
Spread the GOF in the furrows. |
3. |
Plant the seeds or cuttings in the furrows containing GOF. |
4. |
Irrigate or water the furrows.
|
|
IN HOLES |
1. |
Dig the necessary hole size per type of plant. |
2. |
Apply the recommended GOF per hole. |
3. |
Plant the seed, seedlings or cuttings in the furrows containing GOF. |
4. |
Cover it with soil. |
5. |
Irrigate or water the holes. |
